NEW FOR 2026! Come out to our picturesque farm in your comfy work clothes and learn how to successfully grow a cold hardy flower cutting garden. Because of our mild climate, it is essential to grow cold hardy annuals before the heat of spring gets here. With a few tips you can successfully grow a beautiful spring and early summer cutting garden by planting in the fall. In this 1.5 hour class you will learn about these hardy varieties that actually do better when planted in the fall in our zone, get to choose 50 plant seedlings to take home, and receive a printable pdf with all the information presented at the class.

In this workshop you will:

  • Learn about varieties of cut flowers that can be successfully grown in your cold hardy cutting garden..

  • Choose a variety of 50 plants to take home for your own cold hardy cutting garden!

  • Receive a printable PDF file with all the workshop information - plus instructions on how to pinch seedlings for more blooms!

We will most likely work with: a few Snapdragon varieties, Delphinium, Rudekia, Daucus, white and blue thistle, dianthus, penny cress, buplereum, larkspur, nigella and more.

Workshop Fee: $125 per person

Extra trays of seedlings can be purchased for $80 with class registration.
